Warranty Policy

The Leatherman Warranty provides coverage exclusively for the original or primary owner, safeguarding against defects in materials or workmanship. However, it does not extend to instances of abuse, alteration, theft, loss, or unauthorized and unreasonable use of Leatherman products. This warranty specifically applies to tools meant for personal use and excludes commercial accounts or bulk purchases intended for resale of repaired or refurbished tools. Notably, it excludes coverage for accessories, sheaths (except for the Ainsworth Sheath and Adapt Kit, which are covered by a 2-year warranty), imprinting, color finishes, cleaning, or sharpening. With the exception of the Ainsworth Sheath and Adapt Kit, any items falling under these categories will not be returned to the sender. Leatherman apparel and soft goods are not encompassed within the 25-year warranty. Additionally, Leatherman Garage products, being limited-run items, do not qualify for the replacement portion of the standard 25-year warranty on full-size tools. While repair attempts will be made for Garage tools submitted for repair, if repair proves impossible, a store credit equivalent to the full purchase value will be offered.
