How a leading Indian camera and accessories brand built a guided warranty registration workflow on Dyrect — turning registration into the unlock for partner-brand extended coverage, claims, repairs, and complaints.
The Challenge
No central warranty registration system, no incentive for customers to register, fragmented after-sales channels across phone/email/retail, no way to differentiate authorised-channel customers from grey-market buyers, no mechanism for partner brands like Viltrox to extend coverage, and no customer self-service portal.
The Solution
Dyrect implemented five connected modules on digitek.net.in: guided multi-step warranty registration with autocomplete product selection, partner-brand extended warranty unlock (+1 extra year on Viltrox for authorised-channel customers), returning-customer portal, claims & repair & replacement workflow, and complaints management — all under a single branded experience.
The Results
Registration now earns its own conversions via the Viltrox +1 year mechanic. One platform handles all after-sales operations. Authorised channels are reinforced — extended coverage only applies to genuine purchases. Every registration becomes a first-party customer-product-channel record Digitek owns.
