3. You can log in to your account from here or check the plan agreements before moving ahead

4. Enter your Address, zip code and your email address

5. Click “shop plans”

6. Confirm the address

7. Select a plan as per your requirements. There are three options “ShieldSilver” , “ShieldGold”, and “ShieldPlatinum”

8. Each one of them have different features or coverages

9. Click “Sleect a plan” on your preferred plan

10. Choose any other additional services which you want. It will have their respective costs

11. Click “Next”

12. Now you can checkout and buy your plan by simply adding your name, phone number, and payment details

13. Click “Buy Now”

The ShieldPlatinum plan provides comprehensive coverage for 23 major home systems and appliances, along with premium features like roof leak repair and a free annual HVAC tune-up. It includes a $50,000 limit per agreement term, a $5,000 HVAC limit per system, and a $4,000 coverage per appliance for the agreement term. Other features include unlimited refrigerant coverage, a $1,000 limit for roof leak repair, and $250 coverage for code violations, permits, and modifications. Refer to the plan agreement for specific coverage details, service fees, limitations, and exclusions. Similar to other plans, coverage limits and charges for non-covered items may apply. It also includes coverage for up to $1,000 if a contractor needs to cut through concrete to access system components, with Geothermal A/C systems having a $1,500 coverage limit.

The ShieldSilver plan covers 14 major home systems, including heating, air conditioning, electrical components, and plumbing systems. 1. You can contact the support team either by visiting your profile on the American Home Shield website or by dialling 800-776-4663

2. While requesting your service you have to pay the service fee 

3. Once you have paid the amount, a qualified professional will be assigned for your claim

4. Within 24-48 hours they will contact you for the home visit for diagnosis of problem

5. Professional will visit your home and help you with the damages and other details
